i think in five or ten years the music industry will be doing fine.
Music is one of the hottest things right now...and it will always be.
Over the years, music has changed alot and will continue doing so until we die...or run out of ideas for music( which is almost impossible ).
So the music industry doesn't have anything to fear.
in the next five or ten years it seems the music company will try to stop the piracy of illagal downloads and will find a new way to get people the music but then there will be something that will get some people the music for less so i say they should just be happy they are getting some money for it other then nothing at all which seems harsh but true
I think that in five or ten years, not much of the music industry will change. They still will offer selling albums or individual songs. However, they may make the album an even better of a deal then buying an individual song. Also, I believe that people will have more difficulty finding free music downloads. Instead, they can only buy it from certain websites.
In all honesty, there IS definately a problem with albums and singles..
Just like (I guess football teams)
The GreenBay Packers are awesome, but you like just one, Brett Favre for example
Artists that produce albums kind of have a disadvantage unless all their songs are absolutely made of "awesome".
Singles on the other hand, usually most like them because it's just that ONE.
I'm not sure, but just from my point of view, albums arn't selling because it's too pricey and it usually will contain one or two songs that are popular while the rest just "there".
To the question, it really depends on the artists whether they want to keep making albums with singles or whatever they prefer.
I wansn't surprised at all by the information I read. Illegal downloading is a problem that most a lot of people know about. I believe in the next five or ten years the music industry will still be doing well. People enjoy music and like listening to it, so I doubt that the industry will suffer that much. Although CDs are not as popular as digitally downloaded ones, they are still liked by some people. and when they go out of style the industry will switch to mainly using they're own form of downloading from the web. i.e. their own website created for file sharing.
I think that the music industry will be more advance in its technology. There will probably more instruments created. I also think that maybe people will stop downloading because they are going to want the whole cd. Either way people are still going to love music forever. Music has been around for so long so I don't think it's going anywhere
I think in 5 or 10 years the music industry will be even bigger than it is now, because the music industry ia constantly growing. New bands are created almost once a week. Though record lables aren't as much full length records/cd's they are still putting out lots of singles and EP's. and people are always buying cd's and music off of I-tunes, and maybe in 5 or 10 years people wont be pirating music.
In the next 5-10 years I belive the music industry will still be doing good. Music is consistently changing and the industry has kept up with it so far now so i believe it will contiue to still do good. But it will be harder to illegal download songs
In five or ten years the music industry will still be trying to stop illegal downloading.I mean the artists and producers are still making money from concerts and the people who still get them legally. Over the next decade artists will soon catch on to the fact people will always download illegally and start to put out singles instead of albums or possibly go back to the mixtape, but the music industry will survive and grow without a doubt.
within a few years i believe that allsongs will be sold individualy from a cpu and cd's will cease to exist
